Abiding Savior is a very friendly place. When you enter the doors of this church, someone will be there to greet you and welcome you to worship. If you have any questions, they will be happy to assist you. As you enter the church building, there will be ushers near the entrance to the Sanctuary. They will have the bulletins for the day which have the order of service and the announcements.
As you enter the Sanctuary, our place of worship, sit wherever you feel comfortable. If you are at a traditional worship service, please find the green Lutheran Book of Worship in front of you when you are seated to follow along with the service. The page numbers and hymns are printed in the bulletin. If you are at our contemporary worship, then everything you should need for worship will appear on the screen. Please feel free to ask anyone around you if you need assistance of any kind. They will be happy to see you and happy that you asked!
Worshiping as a Family
Abiding Savior is a family friendly church. We are thrilled to have children in worship and running through the halls of the church on Sunday mornings. We encourage families to worship together, but understand that this is sometimes difficult. A staffed nursery is provide during our worship services (except during the summer months) for those children who are too young or too energetic for worship. As you enter the church, just ask someone to direct you to the nursery. Also, the service can be heard throughout the building if a child needs to take a break from worship.
What to Wear
Come as you are! People at Abiding Savior dress as they feel is appropriate and comfortable. Some come in shorts and t-shirts, some come in suits, ties, or dresses. We invite you to come as you are and wear whatever you are comfortable wearing.
Parking
There is always plenty of parking available (you'll see what we mean when you see our parking lot!). If you have small children or you have trouble walking, please park in the spots marked "Courtesy Parking" that are closest to the front door.
