Members of the congregation bake birthday cakes (3-5 cakes) in May and October for patients at Anoka State Hospital
CEAP (Community Emergency Assistance Program)
This program helps families with food, financial support and other assistance for employed persons and their families with a temporary emergency need. Congregational members may donate towards this program with their time or financial support
Feed My Starving Children
This is a good intergenerational event to help package food for starving children to be sent around the world. Groups go periodically throughout the year
Food Shelf
Donations of food and financial support are collected the 2nd Sunday of each month in the Narthex. We donate food items and financial support to Ralph Reeder Food Shelf in New Brighton.
Loving Tree
Names of homebound members are put on a Christmas Tree and you choose a name and purchase & deliver the Christmas gift to that person, who may be living at home or live in a nursing home.
Meals on Wheels
Drivers are needed quarterly to deliver prepared meals to local shut-ins/seniors.
Health Ministry Team
This Ministry Team along with the parish nurses plan and coordinate various health related activities such as educational forums, Health Fairs, Blood Pressure screening, and flu shot clinics.
Quilting
The 3rd Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. women come and make quilts for donation to selected charities and service programs.
Sharing and Caring Hands
Youth and adults meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at 2:45 p.m. at the church to go to the Mpls. shelter and serve a prepared supper
